Our solutions

SOLVIS offers solutions for:

Business Process Management (BPM)

KPMG's 2008 European Identity and Access Management Survey shows that many IAM projects concentrate too much on the IT and neglect the business processes - often because large organisations have extremely variable and informal processes and operate in a heterogeneous IT environment. SOLVIS analyses the processes on site in conjunction with your managers and uses workflows to create a clean integration between IT security and business processes so that security is effective where the customer needs it.

Windows Workflow Foundation
The new version of the Microsoft .NET Framework includes the Windows Workflow Foundation. As a specialist in workflow management, SOLVIS can provide expertise in this new technology. We have developed a framework to implement workflow applications based on the .NET Framework 3.0 and Windows Workflow Foundation quickly and efficiently.

People Workflows
New employees arrive, existing employees leave, others move from one site to another. These are the basic user changes that any organisation must manage. SOLVIS has software to build workflows and manage this lifecycle efficiently. We can advise you on the most appropriate solution for your needs and the size of your company.

Document and Information Workflows
A document management system (DMS) is used to track and store electronic documents and/or images of paper documents. In conjunction with Microsoft SharePoint and Windows Workflow Foundation, SOLVIS enables you to control document and information flows.

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Identity and Access Management (IAM) is the keystone of every enterprise because it touches every area of the business. For a long time, the job of IT security was primarily to ensure that third parties were "kept out". Today it needs to facilitate exchanges with the outside world via virtual portals - but only for authorised persons. Using the four 'A's of IT security - authentication, authorisation, administration and audit - SOLVIS ensures that company data is secure by defining identity detection in conjunction with the customer and offers a professional solution to the challenge of access criteria and rights. Whether passwords, certificates, biometrics or other access methods are chosen, SOLVIS offers users the flexibility of uncomplicated and secure data access using the widest variety of methods at sites around the world.

Directories - Infrastructure and Integration
A directory is a hierarchical database, based on the X.500 standards and the LDAP protocol, containing basic information that is used by processes such as e-mail or access management. SOLVIS can offer you two ways of leveraging the information in your existing directories in order to manage identities for all your employees and external partners:

User Provisioning
Since your workforce is not static, the users in your IT environment whose identities must be managed and their access controlled are in a constant state of flux. SOLVIS can manage all your user changes - additions, deletions, moves etc. - to ensure that your data can only ever by accessed by people who are authorised to do so.

Role Management
Simply adding and removing users is not enough to secure sensitive data. Not everyone should be able to access all the data. Users need to be assigned permissions to ensure they can only access data they are authorised to view. SOLVIS can define a role management landscape in conjunction with the customer and then manage it as user changes are implemented.

Audit and Reporting
The best identity and access management systems and processes are only doing half a job unless you know exactly what is going on at all times - that is where audit and reporting comes in. Your IT environment not only needs to be secure, it also has to be seen to be secure.

Enterprise Security Management

Simply knowing the best IAM option is not enough. Not only do access rights and identities need to be managed but data must also be secured and encrypted. SOLVIS specialises in advanced and complementary security solutions and works with accredited partners in the field of public key infrastructure (PKI) to put together the ideal package for its clients.

Strong Authentication
Password authentication is not always the best way of ensuring a high level of authentication. SOLVIS has decided to offer two complementary technologies to facilitate strong authentication:

Data Protection
Data Encryption:
The more widespread the use of confidential data, the greater the need for security. Good encryption practices should ensure that even if hardware is lost, the data it contains is not compromised. Options we can offer include:

Secure File Exchange:
